Another surf fishing problem is sea grass.If there's a lot out there it will pile up on a fishing line quick and when you reel it in you'll find a 30 pound glob on your rig.The best thing to do if the fishing isn't that great is move somewhere else.Look at the beach and find a place where it's not piled up on the beach.Even if it's not a hole it's better than constantly pulling sea grass off the line.If the fish are in it,the best thing to do is hold the rod and keep the line tight.You will still have to pick it off the rig and line but it won't be as bad as it would be if you let the line get a lot of slack in it.A tide change can move it out of there. |
